High Drama

Let It Go - Mercy Celeste

There are a few things you need to know before reading a Mercy Celeste book.

1. There will be a happy ending.

2. There will be high drama.

3. There will be sideways, almost, could be messy, complicated, unpredictable family conflict.

4. I mean lots and lots of angst with more conflict?

Okay, so I know that's what I'm going to get. I'm prepared. It's what I'm in the mood for so for me this was a perfectly fine book. Knowing your author and your author's style can sometimes make or break your enjoyment of a book. Creed and Eli have done nothing but love and hate for their entire lives. All of the negativity and pain and angst was the making of one evil, evil man.

So you're wondering why did I not give it a four or five stars? It's because Mercy Celeste writes the worst flashbacks. You have no idea where you are, you're just there and then you're not. Stop writing flashbacks Celeste or put date bullets, something, please.
