NR Walker took her reader's emotions up, down and around the mountain with the Turning Point trilogy. Matt has settled into his new position at FC and Kira is enjoying the fruits of Matt's healing, physically and more importantly mentally. We meet two street kids Ruben and Claude as they slowly creep into Matt & Kira's world. The kids are written with an end hand and when they talk it sounds like real smart-mouth kids - so they never made me roll my eyes once. Mitch, Arizona and the cops make appearances and Kira's parents have a strong place in this completion of their story. This is one of those books I'd describe as quiet and naturally slow. Watching these characters function day-to-day is the pay-off. If any two characters deserved a sappy ending it's these two. Well done.
