Loved It

I remember every page of the first installment of this wonderful series Kick at the Darkness. From the first page, I was hooked like a fish at the end of Adam's line. My boys were still together, trying to find a way to survive in a world they no longer know or understand. The action was crisp and exciting. The person-to-person interactions were relatable & for me personally when either main character talked about their fears I wanted to climb into the page and commiserate. Parker, I hear you! There are a few new characters and I accepted them all. Surprisingly I don't like kids in my books at all and this little girl, Lilly was very likable. To be honest, I have zero complaints, this was an amazing read for me.
