Now this is what I'm after, quiet well-developed characters and no silly over-the-top drama. Two lost friends reconnect in a slow but compelling paced story. Gabriel & Lucas both have to find themselves while learning to open themselves to each other and live life. The best part for me was the "I love you" didn't mean life's all sunshine and flowers. This is the third story I've read recently with the main characters facing some of these same challenges and for me, this one feels most genuine.
JUST A NOTE: These are the other two books with the same diagnosis. They are both excellent but each has a different vibe. I'm just sharing. Broken, by Haken & Slide by Leigh
