Xylophone - K.Z. Snow

K.Z. Snow gave us an interesting short story about two abused characters coming together helping each help with the healing,  accepting and loving. Snow’s writing seemed the most confident & almost haunting when her characters were in pain and in dark moments. Both Jonah and  Dare were interesting on their own and I could have spent more time with each one of them individually to get more of what made them tick but Snow chose a short form and pretty much did a good job. I didn’t feel letdown. Yes the ending was a little La-la-La-la happy but that was okay because both characters knew there might be tough moments ahead and they could handle it together. I also wanted to understand the brother. What was his malfunction? I did turn on some Polka Music…We had no choice but crank it up and dance.
