Eli Easton crept onto my auto-buy list without much fanfare and I'm all the better for it. Two boys meet in grade school, become great friends. They're thick as thieves even after they discover one of them is gay years later. Most but not all of the story is told by Jordan but we do get Owen's POV sometimes and it all works for me. I avoid teens as much as I avoid children and I didn't stop reading. They were never annoying still they were portrayed age-appropriately.
This was a satisfying read.
