Now That's What I'm Talking About!
Kick at the Darkness was perfect for a summer read. It's read like those summer blockbusters that have flaws but you don't care because they're so much fun. Parker like any good movie leading character has to make split second decisions and 'grow a pair' fast. Adam was what I thought he was but it was oh so fun waiting for it to happen. There are just the right amount of good guys, bad guys and delusional guys. Andrews never gets too bloody, gory, or gross but still makes this reader nervous and yell 'go,go, GO!' to the book a few times.
Sometimes you have to turn off you head and have FUN!
