Sometimes Andrew Grey can work my last nerve and then sometimes he hits a sweet spot. This was a good one. Fire & Water is a simple story about a disfigured cop and a Life Guard with a stalker. The reason why this works for me is because Grey kept it simple. No silly extra last second 'where'd that come from' story plots. Yes, it could have been deeper and more flushed out but sometimes a lite read is a lite read...simple.
