Lou Harper sings to me. So when I see a book that says written by Lou Harper I just buy it sight unseen. Last Stop is about Jay a drifter and Sam the owner of a tiny, little diner. They come together, they save each other, they fall for each other and they protect each other. The longer they're together the tighter their bond is. Sam has all the experience but Jay has the passion but Sam has the compassion but Jay has the tenacity. There was nothing new overall about the story but Lou Harper is able to make it work for me. Older guy, younger guy, on the run - perfecto fun.
