Red Dirt #2 is just as fun, entertaining and satisfying as the first if not more. We continue to get to know these characters and the outback of Australia, yeah! Travis is as wonderful as always and Charlie, oh how Charlie has to either grow up or give up. That's the core of the whole story. Hoping we can get this man to grow up, lose his fear and face the future of his own making. I love the baby roo too. I love when people say this but the sense of place is excellent. N.R. Walker exposes us to the outback making it an interesting, active part of the story.
