Kinda Sweet

The River Leith - Leta Blake

I love when an author makes a decision and states it right up front. She wrote about her choice to downplay the reality of the medical side of amnesia, “I hope you’re able to suspend disbelief to enjoy the story.”
That being said, I did enjoy this sweet love story about love found, forgotten and rediscovered. A boxer is injured causing him to forget the last three years of his life. His lover is faced with uncertainty in every direction he turns. This whole thing has some angst but not it’s overbearing or heavy at all. This is my first Leta Blake and for me, it’s a good start.
